If only we could do all things Beatles 8 days a week? With International Beatleweek Festival gracing the streets of Liverpool every August, you don’t have to wait till the Summer to indulge in some Beatlemania.

Throughout the year there is a whole list of different tours, events and museums dedicated to the Fab Four, so up your knowledge on Liverpool’s homegrown superstars The Beatles.

International Beatleweek Festival

Wednesday 24th August – Tuesday 30th August 2022

Cavern City Tours are set to bring you their annual event International Beatleweek Festival this August! Join in and celebrate a week dedicated to the Fab Four’s music, with 70 bands from over 20 countries. There will be live music on the Cavern’s 3 stages every day across the event, with a different band every hour.

The festival takes place in venues across the city which includes theatre shows, annual Beatles convention, outdoor venues and late-night parties!

Beatles Walk – Beatles Walking Tour Liverpool

Indulge in some Beatles knowledge while treading the streets of one magnificent city. The Beatles walking tour is 90 minutes of learning about the legacy of the fab four and an understanding of how it helped win Liverpool’s bid to host European Capital of Culture in 2008.

Not only will you learn about the Beatles along the way, this fantastic tour will take you through the Albert Dock & Liverpool’s World Heritage Site. Take in knowledge of how and why the city has evolved since 2008.

Prices for the tour range from £18.00 per person or £30.00 for two guests, this includes a guided tour and a free map of Liverpool City Centre.

Beatles Magical Mystery Tour

Liverpool, a city famous for many things, one being the Fab Four. How would you like to be a part of a tour that is all things Beatles? Then step aboard the colourful Magical Mystery Tour bus for a fun and fascinating 2 hour of Beatles Liverpool. Learn details of the Fab Four’s upbringing, formation and how they became worldwide superstar’s.

The tour will take you to key locations, such as The Beatles childhood homes, schools and places that where the inspiration behind iconic legendary songs such as Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane. You’ll see all the places associated with John, Paul, George and Ringo and how they became the band that would take the pop world by storm.

Tickets are £19.95 per person. Group ticket for 10 also available. Tours depart regularly from 10:00am daily. More tours are added during busier times, all tours operated by Cavern City Tours are with an official Liverpool Beatles guide.

Liverpool Beatles Museum – A Fab Four Experience

Matthew Street, Liverpool, L2 6RE

Liverpool, the home of the forever famous Fab Four, now pays homage to Beatles mania at the Liverpool Beatles Museum.  The Museum is located at the heart of Liverpool’s nightlife on Matthew Street and is set to be one of the largest singularly owned authentic Beatles collections in the world! The collection of Beatles memorabilia ranges from 300 items, including John Lennon’s Sergeant Pepper medals, George Harrison’s Futurama guitar and so many other hidden treasures never seen before.

Roag’s personal collection ranges from 1,200 items, some which have been bought and others that have been given to him by his mother and father (Beatles roadie & head of Apple Corps Neil Aspinall). Items will be spread over five floors; the collections are set to change every January meaning there you will want to come back time and time again to visit and view something new!

Tickets are priced at £15.00 per adult, £10.00 concessions, £7.50 per child (under 16s) and children under 5 are free. The museum also offers a group booking for parties of ten plus at £10.00 per person.

The Beatles Story

The Cavern Club

The Cavern Club, also known as the most famous club in the world, is the cradle of British Pop music. Through seven eventful decades, before, during and after The Beatles this legendary cellar has played a role in music history! Visit the place The Beatles played their first performance in the roaring 60’s establishing themselves as the club’s signature act.

The Cavern was the venue that forged the Fab Four’s musical identity, and where they were spotted by Liverpool businessman Brian Epstein who offered to become the band’s manager. The Cavern Club offers live music every day from mid-afternoon until late evening, with various acts and shows dedicated to The Beatles.

Liverpool City Sights
