Friday 1st November not only marks World Vegan Day, it is also the beginning of World Vegan month celebrations, where all plant-based eaters from across the globe join together to celebrate their 100% cruelty-free lifestyle.
To celebrate in style, much loved Liverpool restaurant Maray will be offering guests any four items from their vegan menu for £20.00 throughout November.
Known across the North West for their Middle Eastern inspired food and great drinks, Maray has been a favourite amongst the vegan community since they opened their doors in 2014 and began serving their renowned falafel.
“Vegetables have always made up the lion’s share of our menu, we love cooking with them and they are a huge part of the Middle-Eastern and North African cuisine we take our inspiration from. We never deliberately set out to have such a big vegan offering, it’s something that has happened organically over time and a while ago we decided to just create a whole vegan menu made up of the existing vegan dishes on the menu as well as vegan alternatives to some of the other plates. It’s been a huge hit and is now integral to our brand. To celebrate this and highlight World Vegan Month, throughout November guests will be able to enjoy any four items from the vegan menu for just 20 “
Some of the amazing vegan dishes on Maray’s menu include:
– Aubergine shawarma with tahini and crispy shallots
– cauliflower bhajis
– Berber Bowl with tahini, confit garlic, zhug, rose harissa and cashews
– Sweet potato with tahini and date molasses
– torched broccoli with preserved lemon and pickled red onion,
– caramelised mushrooms on rye with dukkah
– cinnamon and cardamom rice pudding.
The offer is available all day Monday to Friday throughout the month of November at all Maray restaurants (Bold Street, Allerton Road & the Albert Dock)
It is not available on Saturdays or Sundays and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
