From party games and presents to stilt walkers and songs, Christmas Countdown brings 12 festive pop-up events to Liverpool, counting down to Christmas 2022.

Full details of when the events will take place are strictly under wraps, you’ll just have to keep an eye out on Church Street, Williamson Square, Whitechapel, and Clayton Square at 6pm in the evenings this December to catch surprise celebrations for all the family.

The 12 pop-up events throughout December are centred around the themes of joy, peace, hope and love.

Christmas Countdown was a huge hit when it popped up on the streets of Liverpool last year. Created and delivered by Paperwork Theatre’s team of artists and performers, this year they are set to bring live music, dance, street theatre and party games to Liverpool shoppers, passers-by and city visitors.

Christmas Countdown is a Paperwork Theatre production in partnership with Open Culture. Supported by Liverpool BID Company, Lush Liverpool and Marks & Spencer.
