Cicchetti, a stylish new Italian eatery, has recently debuted on a vibrant street in Crosby, providing guests with delectable breakfast, lunch, and dinner options that are made to order.
Cicchetti specialises in Italian antipasti and main courses, providing customers with a diverse selection of Mediterranean delicacies, ranging from traditional lasagne and carbonara to a wide array of meat, fish, and vegan options.
Additionally, there is a breakfast and brunch menu that offers a variety of traditional options such as eggs Benedict, steak sandwich waffles, crepes, avocado on sourdough, muffins, and other choices.
Established by the same proprietors of well-established establishments Cantinetta and Franchetti, which are also located in Crosby, the cosy venue has opened its doors in the rapidly expanding Liverpool Road Studios.
The space is modern and stylish, attracting freelancers and businesses. It serves as a centre for creative work, while maintaining a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
The creators of Cicchetti aimed to create a tranquil atmosphere in the restaurant, which they accomplished through the use of neutral decorations combined with industrial features such as visible metal beams and substantial light fixtures.
The juxtaposition of these robust elements is complemented by the presence of cosy tables accompanied by vibrant chairs and convenient bench seating along one side of the room. The expansive windows from floor to ceiling facilitate the ingress of natural light, and the proprietors aspire for individuals from diverse age groups and backgrounds to experience a sense of belonging in the establishment.
A Cicchetti spokesperson said:
“Cicchetti is the third Italian restaurant we’ve opened in Crosby and we really hope people will love it.
“It’s always been the team’s dream to introduce the concept of Cicchetti – Italian small and medium plates – to the people of Merseyside and now it’s a reality.
“We’re so passionate about authentic Italian food so we make sure dishes are freshly prepared to order so people get the best of the best. It’s a serene setting – parents can come in after the school run, workers can stop by on their lunch breaks, friends can catch up over dinner.
“We want to be a welcoming space for all because we’re so proud of our food and what we do, and we just want everyone to experience it.”
You can find Cicchetti at 113b Liverpool Road, Crosby, L23 5TD. It’s open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am until 11pm, with last food orders taken at 9.30pm.
