Culture

Culture

Liverpool loves culture! It is home to the largest collection of galleries and museums outside of London, including the Merseyside Maritime Museum, Tate Liverpool, Walker Art Gallery and many more.

Liverpool is also the place to be to see some fantastic plays, comedy and music. There are six theatres in the city centre showing a wide range of shows, plays and musicals, and music venues pepper the city. You can see the biggest names in music on their arena tours or find smaller more intimate venues to discover some real talent. There are comedy clubs showcasing some real talent around the city as well as regular shows by some of the best names in the country at the beautiful Art Deco Philharmonic Hall and the famous Liverpool Empire Theatre.

There are a range of tours you can take throughout the city, Beatles tours, cycle tours, bus tours, tours of the old docks, as well as Shiverpool, the tour of the city’s most haunted places! We’re here to make sure you know what’s happening when and to make sure you don’t miss out on things you want to see and do!
