Daniel Kenealy – Local Photographer Shortlisted for The British Photography Awards

Liverpool is one city like no other, all the beautiful sights, architecture and the people itself all make it one magnificent place. Capturing Liverpool and other stunning hot spots at the end of a lens is a talent, one person in particular that has done that job to a breath-taking standard is local photographer Daniel Kenealy.

31-year-old Daniel from Halewood has been capturing landscape photography for the past 3 years. In his spare time, he is either hiking and wild camping or wandering mountains and coasts searching for that perfect sunset.

Showcasing what he loves best, Daniel entered one of his pieces into The British Photography Awards and with great delight the picture has now been shortlisted for the viewer’s choice award. The Perspective image has been entered into the Macro category with the location Northumberland, Cocklawburn Beach.

Taking on a SonyA7RII 24-70mm Ziess lens, with the description as “Nature is incredible, open your mind and let your eyes take you on a journey”, Daniel needs votes for his work to be nominated. This is the first time he has been shortlisted for a major competition and would love for his work to be nominated.

Every vote counts! and we would love nothing more than for Daniel’s piece of work to go further in the competition. The voting is open now and will be revealed on the 25th November if the votes have been successful. If through to the nominated stage, he will be able to attend the awards ceremony on 28th January 2019.
