Delifonseca Dockside is reintroducing its highly popular Merry Mess-Free Christmas Dinner.
Returning for its third consecutive year, the convenient and enjoyable holiday meal has gained significant popularity. The pre-prepared feast contains all the necessary ingredients for a delectable holiday dinner, including pigs in blankets with sage leaves, maple and poppy seed parsnips, and Brussels sprouts with Jerusalem butter.
The main attraction of the dinner is a high-quality, free-range Wirral white turkey provided by the in-house butchery, Edge & Son. The turkey is cooked using the sous-vide method to ensure maximum juiciness. Additionally, vegetarians can enjoy a delectable hazelnut and cashew nut roast filled with cheddar.
Restaurant Manager Tom Ford said:
“We understand the stress of Christmas prep and want to take that burden off your shoulders once again. We’ve built an impressive fan base of Merry Mess-Free advocates, and this is especially beneficial for those transitioning from guests to hosts, a role often loaded with high expectations.”
The Delifonseca team has carefully selected a menu that stays true to the traditional Christmas feast. It includes popular dishes such as roast potatoes cooked in duck fat and red cabbage braised in mulled wine. The portions are generous, ensuring there will be plenty to savour even on Boxing Day.
The items are meticulously packaged in trays with explicit cooking instructions, and you have the flexibility to make adjustments to your order closer to the date if necessary.
The Merry Mess-Free Christmas Dinner can now be ordered online via Delifonseca’s website, with a restricted quantity available.
In addition, customers have the opportunity to discover a diverse selection of gift products, ranging from locally produced gins to customised gift baskets, which are available for purchase both online and at the highly acclaimed Dockside foodhall located in Brunswick Quay. The foodhall is open seven days a week until December 25th.
Tom added:
“All orders made through the website or in-store can be collected on December 23rd and 24th. It really is the perfect ending to the big day – especially when you’ve not had to do the washing up. All you need to complete your meal is a Christmas pudding or traditional panettone from the deli while stocks last!”
The Merry Mess-Free Christmas Dinner by Delifonseca is priced at £32.50 per person. To learn more or to place an order, visit the website.
