Easter family fun in Liverpool 2022

Easter break is here, and Liverpool is jam-packed full of things to do for all the family.

From egg hunts, bubble workshops, to virtual fun, check out what’s happening across the city this spring break.

Free Your Mind

Royal Albert Dock, Liverpool

Visitors to the Royal Albert Dock can Indulge in the dock’s array of chocolate sweet treats, become a master of bubbles with free workshops during half term, and take part in a dockside egg hunt to be in with the chance of winning a gigantic Albert Dock Easter egg.

Throughout the Easter holidays from 11th-18th April, keep youngsters entertained with the dock’s giant waterfront egg hunt for the chance to win Liverpool’s largest Easter egg, as well as little ones can become master of bubbles with a series of bubble blowing workshops. 

Taking place on 13th and 14th April with 10 sessions available in total, the workshops will be hosted by world record holder, Ray Bubbles, where children can learn the art of bubble making and even experience being inside their own giant bubble.

Indoor Funfair

Indoor Funfair returns to Liverpool this Easter

The Exhibition Centre, Liverpool

The UK’s biggest indoor funfair heads to Liverpool for the Easter break, with some new rides joining all the usual family favourites.

Indoor Funfair, at Exhibition Centre Liverpool, arrives in the city on Saturday 9th April for a 12-day run with unlimited access to more than 25 rides and attractions during each three-hour session.

Pre-booked tickets cost £10.99 per session for unlimited access to rides with spectator tickets priced at £3.50. There is also a special online offer of four riding wristbands for £40 only available until Friday. Refreshments and any prize games are not included in the ticket price.

Strawberry Field to celebrate spring with Easter holiday family fun

The iconic Strawberry Field has unveiled its Easter programme of family fun animation, with garden explorer tours, faith celebrations and a FREE Easter egg hunt – perfect for children and families alike.

The famous Liverpool attraction based in Woolton will kick-start its Easter schedule on Good Friday (April 15), with an Easter egg hunt around the treasured grounds where John Lennon played as a child, packed full of clues, fun, laughter, and of course, plenty of chocolate! (Running April 16th and 17th, daily from 10am – 3pm).

Paul Curtis Art Treasure Hunt 

Local artist, Paul Curtis, is inviting all 5 – 16-year-olds to take part in a unique treasure hunt this Easter holidays.  The challenge is to find and photograph as many of Paul’s public artworks as you can during the Easter break.

All you have to do is print off the below map and hold it up when you have your photo taken with each artwork. There are over 100 public murals to find!  You MUST have the map included in the photo or it won’t count (this is so that everyone is starting at zero count for the treasure hunt).

The person who has the most murals ticked off will be the winner.
