Vienna, Austria – Christkindlmarkt

Krakow, Poland – Christmas Market at Rynek Glowny

Krakow’s Christmas Market takes place at the main old square, Rynek Glowny, between 25th November – 26thDecember, with some markets continuing into January for the Epiphany Festival.

Lined with wooden stalls, visitors can buy Christmas delights such as hand-painted glass baubles, wooden sculptures, painted glass, and a whole range of bric-a-brac. 

Poland knows how to make mulled wine, so much so they also have mulled beer! Food stalls provide roasted knuckles of pork coated in honey, seasoned grilled sausages, and homemade soups.

There are also ice-skating rinks to visit nearby the Christmas Markets.

Amsterdam, Holland – Amsterdam Christmas Market 

Amsterdam is a beautiful city no matter the time of  year, but there is something magical about it at Christmas time.

From 15th-26th December, the famous Museumplein will be transformed into a magical winter mini village with festive music, Christmas treats and tons of mulled wine. There’s also an outdoor ice rink in front of the stunning Rijksmuseum.
