In edition thirteen of our ‘Faces behind the Business’ series, we caught up with Jenna Lloyd, General Manager of The Lexington Liverpool; a 34 storey waterfront neighbourhood homes for rent.
When did you first get into the industry?
Coaching, health, and fitness has always been at the heart of what I do. I soon worked my way up to become a hotel leisure club manager and then moved over to becoming an operations manager for a purpose built student accommodation brand. I had my eye on Moda, The Lexington for a while knowing the city very well, I had seen The Lexington development start to take shape on Princess Dock and knew this was the direction I wanted to take. Moda rental neighbourhoods provide everything needed for modern living, The Lexington offers 325 waterfront homes over 34 storeys including outdoor roof terraces, work from home spaces and a 24/7 gym. We’re creating a new way of living in the city where customer service, wellbeing and tech comes first.
How long have you worked at Lexington Liverpool and what is your job role?
As General Manager for The Lexington I have been with Moda since August 2020. I have to say that my days are extremely varied, in fact that makes this job so much fun! I’ve been busy getting ready for reservations to go live this May as well as working up some fantastic new partnerships and events for when we open our doors in August. We also did our first official press launch last month where we invited media and influencers to a virtual chef’s table in partnership with Maray and Liverpool Gin. A taste of things to come for residents!
My job is to work with my team, which includes concierge, maintenance and lettings, to provide exceptional customer service, day in, day out. We cover everything from onsite maintenance, responding to concierge enquiries in person and virtually via our MyModa app plus planning ongoing resident events including hiit and yoga to book clubs, movie nights and casual after work drinks.
What is Lexington Liverpool ethos?

We run the development almost like a hotel, with a 24 hour concierge and on-site maintenance team, it’s our job to do all the hard work so our residents don’t have to. We provide the best possible spaces for residents to live, work and play.
What’s the best bit of advice you could give to anyone looking at working in your line of work?
Customer service is key, being dynamic, proactive and having a keen eye on the smaller details.
What do you love most about Liverpool?
Most of all it’s got to be the people who make it so great. With a sense of community unlike any other, Liverpool City means a lot to me. It is a city full of kind and friendly people who are truly unique. Not forgetting the great music and nightlife…who could resist it!
