In the third edition in the Faces behind the business series we caught up with Mark Aston and Patti Bullock, age 35 & 31, directors of Indigo Greens; plant based eatery in the heart of Liverpool.

When did you first get into the industry?

Patti has been a chef since age 16, I had a vision of Indigo Greens in 2015, established 2017 as meal prep company, opened Queens Drive 2018, Duke St Market 2019.

How long have you worked at Indigo Greens and what is your job role?

Mark – Managing Director, Patti – Executive Chef / Director of food.

What is Indigo Greens ethos?

Food from a higher consciousness, cruelty free, plant based whole foods as nature intended.

What’s the best bit of advice you could give to anyone looking at working in your line of work?

Persistence, Perseverance and never give up, accept the obstacles and challenges as they will no doubt lead to a your future success.

What do you love most about Liverpool?

Small city with a big heart, you can’t pigeon hole what Liverpool is, it’s always been an epicentre for change. People standing up for truth and justice regardless of what mainstream media or the government say.

There is a mass Awakening happening right now globally but Liverpool as always are at the forefront of this conscious expansion and us as people are a force. We recognise our sovereignty and stand for what we believe. 

If you could describe your business in 3 words what would they be?

Conscious, Positive, Truth.
