In the fifteenth edition in our Faces of Liverpool series we caught up with Adam Weighell, aged 38 from Mossley Hill; a Radio Presenter on Heart FM.
What do you love about Liverpool?
It’s home! I moved here in 2008 to work at Juice FM and fell in love with the city. The people make a place; Liverpool has the friendliest, chattiest and maddest people in the world.
Name one main thing about living in Liverpool that makes you proud?
It’s the only city where you go out for a pint of milk and make friends with multiple strangers. It’s full of talkers but also incredible listeners.
If you could describe Liverpool in 3 words what would they be?
welcoming, trendsetters, unique.
Name one place in Liverpool that holds a special place in your heart?
Sefton Park Palm House – I was lucky enough to get married inside the Palm house in 2015. Living near Sefton Park means we visit it all the time and we always discover something new inside.
Is there anything on your ‘Bucket List’ to do in Liverpool that your still yet to achieve?
I’m yet to pop my ‘Raz’ cherry. I’ve never braved the Blue Angel but I’m looking forward to a big night in 2021!
Do you have any tales of Liverpool or claim to fame while in the city?
I once won a mobility scooter at Bongo’s Bingo!
