SERIES TWO – EDITION TWELVE
In series two – edition twelve of our Faces of Liverpool series we caught up with Ellie Fenlon, aged 23 from Liverpool; a Visual Merchandiser, Interior Stylist & Podcast Host.
What do you love about Liverpool?
OMG The people! I feel the people definitely make our city and whenever anyone travels here they ALWAYS compliment the atmosphere. I think if you are from Liverpool its certainly a vibe like no other – its no wonder we got voted the kindest city in the UK! Us scousers are the best!
Name one main thing about living in Liverpool that makes you proud?
I feel Liverpool has such a go getter and entrepreneurial mentality, there is so many amazing spirited people who live here, so many business owners, people going unnoticed for there work with charities, just so much talent its fab! I’m just proud to have been born here and have the spirit of the city!
If you could describe Liverpool in 3 words what would they be?
The Best City
Name one place in Liverpool that holds a special place in your heart?
I honestly can’t, for me Liverpool IS the place that’s special in my heart, I think lockdown honestly made me notice the small things every day like the liver birds we pass every day with 0 recognition and how insane the architecture is, I think I just appreciate now everything about our city.
Is there anything on your ‘Bucket List’ to do in Liverpool that your still yet to achieve?
I would LOVEEEEE to design an amazing restaurant in our city! I’d probably eat there daily I’d be made up!
Do you have any tales of Liverpool or claim to fame while in the city?
I dont think so, I always feel my cool stories arn’t so cool, when I hear parents or grand parents stories I think am either from the wrong era or exciting things arnt happening in my life – best get some memories going for the future grandkids!
