In series three – edition one of our Faces of Liverpool series we caught up with Jonathon Clark, aged 29 from Liverpool City Centre; a Tech Entrepreneur.
What do you love about Liverpool?
It feels like the centre of everything. You want a night out? Easy. Want to start a tech company? You’re in the right place. You want countryside? Less than an hour away. London? A short train journey.
Name one main thing about living in Liverpool that makes you proud?
The people in this city look out for each other, and it has come such a long way from the dark days of the 80s. That is no small accomplishment.
If you could describe Liverpool in 3 words what would they be?
Bold. Creative. Friendly.
Name one place in Liverpool that holds a special place in your heart?
There’s a bench in Sefton Park where I had a conversation with somebody, and it changed my life forever.
Is there anything on your ‘Bucket List’ to do in Liverpool that your still yet to achieve?
I don’t think so… but I’ve never actually done the Magical Mystery Tour, now that I think about it.
Do you have any tales of Liverpool or claim to fame while in the city?
I’m building a community of tech entrepreneurs and creatives who are committed to growing the economy here and making it the best place in Europe to grow a business that solves problems for people, and have lots of fun along the journey.
