Festive season heads to Woodside with Christmas Market

The magic of Christmas will be arriving at Woodside this month, when a six-week long Christmas market heads to Wirral this festive season.

Starting from the 13th November Woodside Food & Market will be stepping into Christmas every weekend until 19th December.

From 10am – 5pm every weekend you will be able to shop, eat and enjoy mulled wine at Woodside, we will have 24 Wirral based independents offering some of the finest gifts that you can buy for your friends and family.

Thanks to Morgan Sindall each Saturday and Sunday 2pm – 4pm, Santa and his Elves will be visiting Woodside to give out selection boxes and have photos taken with children that want to come down and see him.

Paula Basnett, CEO, Wirral Chamber of Commerce, said:

“Christmas was unusual for us all last year, and this year we and our local independent businesses want to give back to the community and create memories for them all.”

She added, “Our independent businesses have supported us in helping to make Woodside a destination to visit, we want to see these businesses grow and create a vibrant scene for our growing independent community.”

Inside the ferry terminal at Woodside Ferry Village, you will be able to enjoy a wide variety of cuisines, with 8 different vendors including, Café Cream, Scooby’s, Pausha, Bamboo Thai, Haku, Ena Pa, Tipsy Duck and Frescino.
