Fiesta of Fire will return, bringing a display of light and fire to the Martin Luther King Jr. plateau. The event will feature choreographed fire shows and freestyle fire performers from Bring the Fire Project. As they display their pyrotechnics throughout the week, don’t miss stunning routines with a martial arts theme, sword fights that go all out, and more.

This year’s exciting fire walk opportunity will be available to visitors on Thursday, February 15. For the first time, firewalking comes to the dock. Take a waterfront stroll unlike any other and brave the hot coals. More than 1200°C will be experienced by those who want to test their bravery; only 70 spots are available via Eventbrite, first come, first served.

The dock will be the meeting place for people looking to take romantic pictures with their significant others on Valentine’s Day. Set pulses racing in Britannia Courtyard with unique selfie spots featuring flaming hearts from 6pm-8pm, in addition to choreographed fire shows and freestyle performers. After that, spend a romantic evening dining at some of Liverpool’s best restaurants by heading to Dockside. There is something to satisfy every appetite, including a special sharing menu at The Smugglers Cove, a tapas tasting menu in Lunyalita that includes live flamenco guitar music, and a sharing steak and champagne experience at Miller and Carter.

A Comic Con parade featuring a number of beloved superhero and television characters, such as those from Game of Thrones, will heighten the mood.
