Seema Malhotra, Real Housewives of Cheshire star was also in attendance for the star-studded evening and arrived at the new offices in Exchange Flags looking very glamorous alongside her husband Sandeep Malhotra – CEO of Forever Unique – and a host of the city’s top business leaders.

Greg Inglis, the former rugby league star also joined the party at Sedulo, a company who are widely regarded as a powerhouse in financial services, providing a suite of support to a range of clients including advice on taxes, financial planning, accountancy,  wealth management and funding.

The company was established in 2009, and the finance specialists now count themselves among the top 100 accountancy firms in the United Kingdom and are the only business in that sector to have strong office bases in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and London.

It represents clients including musicians, sports stars and TV personalities including household names such as David Haye and the boxing Smith brothers. They also support Rugby Super League giants Leeds Rhinos, having gained experience advising a number of professional clubs and international sports stars over the last decade.

Sedulo’s new Liverpool lease is costing more than £1million, while the company spent a further £400,000 transforming their 7,000 sq ft space in Exchange Flags into an incredible area.

Upon entering the offices on Thursday night, clients and guests were greeted by an impressive 3,000 sq ft backlight bar dressed in black and green to provide a very intimate and calm working space with secluded tables and a speaker system alongside.

Attendees at the event were also impressed as the new offices feature a ‘Klopp/Kendall Suite’ complete with signed shirts from Sir Kenny Dalglish and Kevin Ratcliffe plus an indoor garden, table football machine and seats in blue and red set against Goodison Park and Anfield in order to pay homage to the rivalry and history between the city’s two major football clubs Liverpool FC and Everton FC.

Guests were wowed by main boardroom which has been designed like a military bunker, complete with sandbags and 1940s Wrens uniforms in order to pay respects to Walker House – where the office is located – as it once housed a bomb-proof bunker in the basement as part of a military command headquarters.

A McVitie’s/Crawfords suite has been installed – with Crawfords having been a major Liverpool confectioner producing biscuits from the late 1800s until being merged with McVitie’s in the 1970s.

In honour of that, Sedulo serve afternoon tea each day in their Liverpool office with a stock of Crawfords biscuits for staff to enjoy.

A podcast studio, modelled on Oprah Winfrey’s set, has been put in place too while a stunning outdoor Victorian terrace garden overlooking the Royal Liver Building and River Mersey has been put in where amazing musicians, DJ sets and Gok Wan delivered their performances on Thursday night.

Meanwhile, a cool American-style diner decked out with iconic signage and decoration also in place for staff and Sedulo clients to enjoy if they wish.

Sedulo founder, Paul Cheetham-Karcz, said:

“We’re incredibly proud of our new offices in Liverpool and delighted that so many of our clients, business leaders and celebrities were able to join us for this spectacular launch event.

“We’ve got big ambitions for Liverpool and look forward to welcoming more people into our offices in the coming weeks and months.”
