Gusto Italian Liverpool is launching an exclusive pizza experience at its new chef’s table this May.
Renowned for its 24-hour proved sourdough pizzas, Gusto Italian is bringing a slice of Italy to the hands of residents and tourists with its two hour hands on Pizza Experience.
The restaurant & bar has undergone minor work to make way for the grand chef’s table which will seat up to ten people where they can watch the Pizzaioli cook right in front of them.
Party goers can expect two hours of fun, hands-on pizza making with complimentary fizz on arrival and waves of Italian feasting. Throughout the experience, a dedicated Pizza Host will be on hand to keep diners entertained with tongue in cheek humour and friendly competition.
The infamous Gusto Pizza Experience is only currently available in Nottingham city centre, which opened last year, making Liverpool the first of Gusto’s existing restaurants to welcome the new dining concept from May 7.
Matt Snell, CEO of Gusto Italian says:
“We are thrilled to launch the Gusto Pizza Experience in Liverpool later in May. Our guests in Nottingham have absolutely loved it, so it was only matter of time before we introduced it to our other restaurants so more of our guests can enjoy it too.”
Ben Smith, General Manager adds:
“Liverpool is already deemed as the city for special occasions and this exclusive Pizza Experience will help to cement that. The team are excited to be one of the first restaurants to be launching the experience and to bring something new to the Docks.”
The £45 per person experience will begin with a warm introduction from the Pizza Host and Pizza Chef.
Diners will be served traditional antipasti boards filled with Italian cured meats and cheese whilst the Pizza Chef prepares the signature starter, Dough PetalsTM.
After this, guests will be told to roll up their sleeves as they prepare to put their pizza making skills to the test.
A professional Pizza Chef will guide the party through the art of pinning and rolling a pizza base whilst talking about the specialist ingredients used to make the finest pizza.
With a whole host of toppings on offer from fior di latte mozzarella, salciccia pepperoni, pesto and more, guests can get as creative as they want with a prize given to the pizza deemed ‘the best’ by the Pizza Chef. After the pizzas are baked in front of them, the table can then enjoy their own creations alongside a selection of Romesco and Caesar salads.
To finish off the experience, diners can pipe and decorate their own cannolis – an Italian delicacy of crispy pastry tubes and sweetened ricotta.
Gusto Italian Liverpool will also be launching Brunch and Bottomless Brunch menu from Friday 30 April offering quintessential Italian spritzes, prosecco and champagne from £35 per person with an option to upgrade to a Champagne Bottomless Brunch.
