The team behind Happy Days Apartments Group are excited to announce a new and innovative commercial partnership with the M&S Bank Arena.
The region’s prestigious venue, part of the ACC Liverpool Group, has a track record of delivering high profile, world class events featuring live music, comedy performances, comedy shows and political conferences. It will now play host to Europe’s legendary singing competition, in honour of the 2022 winners, Ukraine, who sadly will be unable to put on the show at home in Odessa (twinned with Liverpool).
Happy Days has already established itself as a hugely popular apartment group, which now has a stunning portfolio of serviced accommodation based in key locations around the city centre.
With its ‘home away from home’ mantra, each apartment location features the same premium levels of decor, furnishings and facilities, each featuring a dedicated kitchen, bathroom and bedroom spaces. From the picturesque 16 Queen Avenue, through to Concert Square, and the L1 Boutique, to name but a few, Happy Days also has its Mathew Street and Sgt. Peppers apartments, which have proved to be a huge hit with music fans.
With a new location just launched on Dale Street at New Oxford House, Happy Days now has over 100 apartments, which can accommodate a single visitor and up to 17 guests, depending on the venue, with excellent travel reviews online already in place. Having just enjoyed a booked-out experience during the recent Labour Party conference, Happy Days apartments attract discerning guests who wish to enjoy everything the city has to offer.
Happy Days Group is the brainchild of Alan Cosgrove and Peter Schriewersmann, the successful founders of Hotel Anfield, based near to Liverpool Football Club’s legendary ground. With a renowned reputation for welcoming football fans, Hotel Anfield has also been able to take advantage of the city’s popularity as a tourism centre, as well as being a boutique events venue. It is also a local community hub, supporting regeneration in the surrounding area. Amongst other local activities, it helped raise the funds for the latest Mo Salah mural.
Alan Cosgrove (Co-Owner & Director) explains:
“‘We started with a handful of apartments in 2017 and decided to build on this, as I was aware of just how popular Liverpool is as a tourist destination, as is the city region as a whole.
Despite the Covid 19 pandemic and current cost of living crisis, Happy Days Apartments Group is a flourishing business, and so we are really delighted to now be linked via such a prestigious commercial partnership with Liverpool M&S Bank Arena. It is our biggest marketing deal to date, and such an exciting venture for us. The Arena is already established as a premium national and international venue, and the addition of the Eurovision Song Contest for 2023 is a really proud moment for us as a team to be involved in.
This 12-month initial deal will see us featured on two highly visible, prominent banners on the Arena concourse, digital content displayed across 20 key screens, and we are super excited to have a ‘washroom takeover’ for the upcoming Jamie Webster concert, as well as our all-important listing on the accommodation on the Arena’s official website. All of these measures will highlight our logo and reflect exactly what brand Happy Days Apartments Group is all about.”
Peter Schriewersmann (Co-Owner & Director) added:
“Having just hosted many guests for the recent Labour Party conference, we are proud that our portfolio of apartment sites will provide key accommodation when Eurovision guests descend from across the globe next year, and we are delighted that our apartments have been given the seal of approval from the M&S Bank Arena.
We have been able to build on our experience at Hotel Anfield, its success and the profile built around it, to really get to know what customers want when they come to visit Liverpool. This has allowed us to grow the Happy Days Group in the city centre, providing first rate, premium accommodation which has our guests at the heart of everything we do.
I personally am looking forward to putting on one or two special events surrounding the Eurovision too, as we have built some good relationships with Ukraine following us raising money and delivering two ambulances to the Ukrainian people earlier this year. In fact, one of the ambulances was deployed to Odessa at the time.”
Gill Tubb Sales and Marketing Manager at Happy Days Apartments Group adds:
“We really pride ourselves not only on the first rate apartments we provide across the city centre, but also by going the extra mile to ensure that our guests have everything they need to make their stays complete. We have many returning customers, who come back to us as we are there to assist with extras such as drinks packages, football tours and tickets, health and wellbeing packages, and services suited to families, foodies and music fans.
We already get many guests who are here to visit the M&S Bank Arena, as so many of our sites are within walking distance, and with so many events on the way during the next year, we are so pleased to announce this major marketing campaign.”
