The iconic Pleasure Rooms returns to Liverpool, bringing a festive reunion party to the Olympia like no other this December.
Renowned as the place to be for ravers in the nineties and noughties, the Pleasure Rooms welcomed thousands of ravers week in week out.
When the iconic club closed its doors in May 2016, it left a huge hole in the nighttime scene. Karl Gwynn has kept the Pleasure Rooms’ spirit alive through reunions that are always in demand.
The last event sold out to 2000 people and had thousands on the waiting list and so the club veteran decided to throw one last party of 2021 so that revellers can reminisce.
He explained: “The Pleasure Rooms was an institution and the beacon for Liverpool’s club scene. We have regulars who would visit us week in week out to soak up the atmosphere and listen to the incredible DJs and live MCs. It was iconic and provided everyone who came with unbelievable beats and it was as though everyone was one big family. People met there who are now married with kids, or found friends there. It was a very special place.”
The Pleasure Rooms event at Olympia will see the original DJs and MCs taking to the stage for a monumental live PA on Saturday 4th December.
Karl added: “This will be another amazing Pleasure Rooms party of 2021 and will be bigger and better than ever. We’re so excited to welcome back our original DJs and MCs and for that electric atmosphere to be recreated on Saturday 4th December.”
Tickets are out now with the early bird already completely sold out.
Both standard and VIP tickets can be purchased via Skiddle.
