Jet2holidays is expanding its offering to Greece for Summer 24 with the addition of a new destination – Symi – during its first summer of operating flights and holidays from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
In response to high demand from Merseyside customers and independent travel agents looking to book a holiday to Greece, the UK’s largest tour operator has put Symion holidays on sale for next summer.
Holidaymakers will be able to fly to this new destination from Liverpool John Lennon Airport via Rhodes Airport between May 2nd and October 31st. Customers and independent travel agents have plenty of opportunities to book holidays to this satellite island off Rhodes, with up to two weekly services (Monday and Thursday) operating during peak periods by award-winning airline, Jet2.com.
Customers will receive accommodation in Rhodes for the first night of their vacation upon arrival at Rhodes Airport before continuing their journey to Symi the following day via ferry crossing, which takes approximately 1.5 hours. Customers will be transported from the port to their chosen accommodation once they arrive in Symi.
Symi is a Dodecanese island located in the south-east Aegean, just 24 miles north of Rhodes. It is ideal for holidaymakers who want to relax and soak up the slow pace of Greek life. It is known for its beaches, harbour at Symi Town, and is surrounded by colourful, authentic Greek houses tumbling down the hillside.
Jet2holidays is selling to three Symi resorts: Symi Town, Pedi, and Emporios, and is offering four hotels: Pedi Beach Hotel, Iapetos Village Hotel, Opera House Apartments, and Niriides Hotel & Apartments.
As a result of today’s announcement, Jet2holidays now offers an unrivalled selection of Greek destinations from Liverpool John Lennon Airport for Summer 24. From Liverpool John Lennon Airport, the airline will fly to five Greek destinations: Corfu, Crete (Heraklion), Kos, Rhodes, and Zante.
Jet2holidays will operate up to eight weekly services to Greece from Liverpool John Lennon Airport during peak periods, representing over 75,000 seats on sale and providing customers in Merseyside with fantastic flexibility when it comes to reaching the Greek sunshine next summer.
