Liverpool has debuted an ethical clothing brand supporting the Amazon rainforest and its indigenous tribes. With every sale Kambo not only offers a great selection of t-shirts, hoodies, caps, accessories, and artwork but also helps to create an even better planet.

Lewis Powell founded the Kambo clothing brand after spending many years visiting the Amazon, particularly Peru, and spending a significant amount of time with the indigenous tribes there. Founder of Kambo Practitioner Alliance, Lewis is one of the UK’s pioneers of kambo, the ancient healing practice using the sacred South American kambo frog.

Lewis has personally experienced the challenges faced by the Amazonian tribes, ranging from deforestation to suppression. Each sale under the new Kambo brand will contribute to sustainability projects that protect the Amazon rainforest and its indigenous communities.

Kambo crafts every piece of clothing with sustainability in mind. From organic cotton and recycled fabrics to eco-friendly dyes and low-impact production processes, products are as gentle on the planet as they are on your skin. The commitment to sustainability doesn’t stop at the products; it permeates every aspect of the business, from the packaging to the supply chain.

Lewis explained:

“I’ve been visiting the Amazon for around 10 years now, working closely with tribes and bringing their sacred healing practises and knowledge back to the UK. Many people have benefitted from this, whilst the tribes and their environment are exploited — through purchasing things such as clothing and coffee consciously we can help make a difference.”

“Kambo was born out of a passion for both fashion and the environment. We envision a world where clothing is not only a means of self-expression but also a tool for positive change. By choosing sustainable materials and ethical production practices, we aim to minimize our ecological footprint and set new standards in the fashion industry.”

From stylish hoodies and t-shirts to caps, bags and phone cases, Kambo’s message is that being stylish and fashionable doesn’t have to be negatively impactful on the planet — in fact it can help bring about change. By purchasing consciously and raising awareness at the same time, we can all make a difference.
