Currently on Bold Street, in Mossley Hill on Storrsdale Road and as a pop up in Hotel Anfield, Laros will open in Blackstock Market this spring.

Blackstock Market will be Hot Water Comedy Club’s new home, with eight vendors, four theatres, live music day and night, a whisky bar and a cocktail bar.

Laros will be one of the eight food traders within the market, sharing authentic Greek street food dishes and ingredients with new dishes on the menu.

Owner Nikolaos Fylladitakis is passionate about showcasing what he and his family eat in Greece and shedding light on traditional dishes at the heart of Greek cuisine.

From gyros wraps to souvlaki skewer boxes, fresh Greek salads, an entire Laros Green vegan menu made up of fresh, all-natural ingredients, Nikolaos, who moved to Liverpool in 2014, has created Laros as a place where people can enjoy the ease of street food, whilst also experiencing the essence of fine cuisine.

Importing the majority of Laros’ ingredients directly from Greece including its meat, dairy and drinks such as Greek wines, beers and soft drinks, Nikolaos is committed to bringing a taste of authenticity to Liverpool.

After trialling new dishes at Hotel Anfield, Laros is officially launching a new Loaded Greek HotBox with sliced marinated gyros meat, spicy salt and pepper fries topped with chilli, spring onion and sriracha mayo, their new Greek Beef Sausage and Spicy Fries with salt and pepper, chillies and extra Greek feta cheese.

Laros’ other menu items for Blackstock Market include chicken gyros, chicken souvlaki, lamb souvlaki, Greek salad, vegan Greek salad, vegan courgette, tomato and chickpea fritters and Talagani cheese fries.

Nikolaos explained:

“In our restaurants, you’ll find our full Laros menu and our vegan Laros Green dishes. But in Blackstock Market, we’ve developed a different menu that fits perfectly with the market’s street food way of eating. We’ve tried and tested the Greek Hotbox at our pop up at Hotel Anfield and we’ll be introducing a new Greek beef sausage – both are delicious! We look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new guests at Blackstock Market and sharing our true, authentic Greek street food.”
