LIVER-PEDLAA-POOL

Liverpool is well known as a city that is always second to none when putting something back into the community, and wanting to make the city a better place for people to live in. No stranger to pushing boundaries to make a difference is 20-year-old Blaen, who has set the bar high when attempting to help the youth of the city invest in a great cause.

Blaen has invested his time in organising Liverpool’s first and only regular pedal bike meet up and ride outs, finding his inspiration from similar groups happening around London. Previously living in London, he had taken part in a friend’s ride out group Bikestormz, whom run the #knivesdownbikesup campaign. What started out as a small group of attendees, has now seen the group become a massive sensation as they prepare to host their 7th ride with over 2000 riders all on peddle bikes! The ride has also gained a lot of media coverage and has become something of a success.

Moving back to Liverpool Blaen seen there was opening in the city for him to step up and make a difference, with bike life being high in the community he was surprised there was nothing like this back home. LIVER-PEDLAA-POOL will be promoting the #knivesdownbikesup campaign and is set to help youths find their passion, while keeping them from going down the wrong paths in life. The sessions are being held every Sunday from 12.00 noon, located at the Pier Head Village for attendees to turn up and take part in the ride outs around various locations.

With numbers increasing the Summer sets to be full of great ideas for LIVER-PEDLAA-POOL, with plans for competitions, giveaways, merchandise, music, food and so much more! So have your bikes at the ready, and head down one Sunday afternoon.
