The iconic Dog Show at Liverpool ONE is returning, and dog owners are encouraged to pre-register for this Labrador-friendly event in the city.
On Sunday 10th September 10th, at Chavasse Park, the city’s dogs will have the opportunity to enter an array of categories, all with a chance of being crowned champions.
The categories at the Dog Show are: Cutest Puppy, Prettiest Pooch, Handsomest Boy, Best Tricks, Fancy Dress, Doggy Musical Statues and Rescue Dog.
Tails Animal Welfare, The Liverpool Vets, Urban Paws, and Dog One Grooming are among the judges, as is the event’s charity partner. Liverpool’s favourite, Leanne Campbell, is back to present the Dog Show.
Fellow pooches will have the opportunity to impress the judges on the big stage before parading in front of an audience on Chavasse Park.
Each category will have a winner and a runner-up. Winners will receive dog treats as well as a £50 gift card to Liverpool ONE, while runners-up will receive a £25 gift card to Liverpool ONE. Every entrant will also receive a collar rosette.
The Dog Show welcomes family fun. Food and drink stalls, activities, demonstrations, and local businesses selling dog-friendly gifts and products will be available.
There will be activities such as doggy first aid with The Liverpool Vets, Toddies Dog’s Training Tricks Arena, talks from Urban Paws and Dog One Grooming, and even a Pawsitively Does It! Dog Agility Arena.
Dogs are always welcome at Liverpool ONE, which has public water bowls, dog-friendly restaurants, and stores where well-behaved dogs can go shopping with their owners.
