Liverpool ONE will be offering a warm welcome to students arriving in the city this month with the help of a glorious line up of some of the finest talent emerging from Merseyside’s music scene.
Liverpool ONE has invited some of the city’s’ most talented to plug in and play their sets from 12 noon on Wednesday 29th September.
The music – with the support of Liverpool ONE’s DJ Truck in Paradise Street – will continue throughout the day until the early evening, with a mix of soul, rap, rock pop, dance, folk and country-infused inspiration.
It will be heard across the estate from Sugar House Steps, outside John Lewis, through to College Lane where LIPA’s finest buskers will be celebrating the start of the new term and even into the popular Peter’s Square, outside Hotel Chocolat, where the interactive Paperwork Theatre will be performing.
Donna Howitt, Place Strategy Director at Liverpool ONE, said:
“It’s been a long 18 months for students preparing for university or already studying here under the various Covid restrictions.
“We are determined to kick off this academic year in the best way possible, introducing people to fantastic music and creativity right here in the city centre.”
