Global Scouse Day is back for 2022, bringing Liverpool’s favourite dish to the city and beyond!
The city-wide event taking place on Monday 28th February will see bars, cafes and restaurants in Liverpool serving up the city’s signature dish on their menus throughout the day.
Over the course of the following five years, Global Scouse Day grew from a small gathering to an event that captured the city’s imagination.
The event has seen venues across the world take part, including countries such as the US and Australia add scouse to their menus for the special day.
Venues including in taking part in this year’s Global Scouse Day include Relish at Royal Liver Building, whom will be donating 100% of the proceeds for every dish sold to Everton in the Community.
Harrison’s Bar & Kitchen is renowned for its hearty scouse, with venue also having offers on their menu.
Allerton Road favourite, DEREKS will be adding their twist on all thing’s scouse, by serving scouse inside hollowed out crusty bread! With a percentage of sales going to charity the Owen McVeigh Foundation.
Scandinavian-inspired venue SKAUS will be living up to their name’s sake on the day serving up the Liverpudlian dish, with a blind scouse (vegetarian) option available.
Liverpool Cathedral’s is well known for its hearty delicious scouse served up at the Welsford Bistro restaurant located inside the stunning venue.
