The world’s leading entertainment company, Live Nation Entertainment has announced that Peel L&P’s Liverpool Waters will be one of 12 venues across the UK to host a series of live socially-distanced drive-in concerts, featuring some of the biggest names in music, in a bid to continue to provide entertainment this summer.

The concerts will be held at Central Docks, part of Liverpool Waters, the £5 billion regeneration scheme which will see the creation of five brand new neighbourhoods, breathing life back into the city’s historic docklands.

With a capacity of 300 cars per show, the concerts will feature quality sound from a live stage with a full state of the art sound system, lighting rig and high definition LED screens, creating an arena or stadium concert feel in a setting to help protect fans, artists, crews and staff at all times.

Liza Marco, asset manager at Liverpool Waters, part of Peel L&P, said:

“We know that so many people will be missing the opportunities to go to festivals and concerts that the summer would usually bring, so we’re delighted to be able to host these concerts, for people to come along with family and friends, to enjoy some fantastic live music in a safe way.

“Liverpool Waters has hosted some incredible, diverse events in the past, such as Creamfields Steel Yard and last year holding the European Tour’s Hero Challenge at Princes Dock, so we’re excited to welcome people back to the waterfront this summer.”

Tickets for Utilita Live From The Drive-In will be available on Monday 22nd June at https://www.livenation.co.uk/festival/utilita-live-from-the-drive-in-liverpool-tickets
