Ahead of their long awaited arrival in the city, Maray and good friends Bundobust have teamed up to bring back an idea which went down in Liverpool’s food history.
Back in 2019, Maray hosted a one-off dinner to welcome Bundobust to Liverpool and now, they’re repaying the favour.
Kicking off on Monday 9th May and for two weeks only, Bundobust Brewery on Oxford Street along with their Manchester Piccadilly and Liverpool Bold Street restaurants bring Middle Eastern-Indian fusion to the specials menu with a series of collab dishes.
Bundobust’s iconic Okra Fries are transformed to JAZZY FRIES topped with Maray flair; tahini, tamarind, spring onion and chilli, perfect for dipping with the MARAY SAUCE TRIO of harissa, zhug, and tahini.
VALAFEL PAV takes Bundobust’s deep fried potato ball in a bun, and introduces it to Maray’s signature falafel in the best way. Maray’s super famous Disco Cauli is woven into Bundo’s Bhel Puri to create DISCO BHEL PURI; the Mumbai classic broken samosa pastry snack now dressed with caramelised cauli, flaked almonds and pomegranate.
The menu also features HALLOUMI TIKKA, dressed with sour cherry jam, dukkah and sumac.
This super special menu will be available as single dishes or as the ‘Bundobust x Maray Combo for 2’. £2 from every combo and £1 from every Valafel Pav sold will be donated to Eat Well MCR, the social enterprise providing chef made meals to people in need.
The menu will be available from Monday 9th May until Sunday 22nd May at both Manchester restaurants; Bundobust Oxford Road, Piccadilly and at Bundobust Liverpool.
