New music and creative culture magazine Bido Lito! needs your help

New music and creative culture magazine Bido Lito! is appealing for people to sign up to their membership package in a bid to protect the future of the magazine.

The organisation marked 10 years since issue one hit the streets of Liverpool this Sunday but has been hit by loss of advertising revenue in recent months. While the team have pressed on with a weekly newsletter picking out a selection of stories from their website which is now being updated almost daily, the lockdown situation has inevitably had an impact.

The platform is largely made possible by the support of advertisers; venues, galleries, festivals, promoters, all of whom have been hit hard by the necessary social distancing measures. Bido Lito! is still looking to support Merseyside’s cultural ecosystem and creatives who have continued to provide invaluable art and entertainment during these incredibly testing times. But the situation has become increasingly difficult.

New music and creative culture magazine Bido Lito! needs your help

Since Covid-19 took hold and has continued to squeeze the music and culture community, Bido Lito! has been working hard to do what they always do: celebrate creativity, tell inspirational stories and look forward. However, they now need to ask for your help.

For £7 a month (less than half a coffee a week!) you can become a Bido Lito! Member and aid the magazine’s survival. You’ll receive a one-off, limited edition of their forthcoming Bido Lito! Lockdown Zine, the members’ exclusive weekly mailer and once back in print, the magazine to your door every month. On top of this you’ll get a Bido branded tote bag, the end of year Journal, free access to Bido Lito! events and exclusive content.

Bido Lito!’s intention is to start printing the physical magazine as soon as it can be delivered to its network of stockists and when live music finally whirls back into action.

They need the help of those who love and appreciate what Bido Lito! is. The people who pick up the monthly magazine, read the website, listen to the podcast and go to the events. By becoming a Bido Lito! Member you will be directly contributing to the magazine’s future existence.
