A new over 25’s bar has recently opened in Liverpool and it is selling out weekly! After 18 months of off and on lockdowns and massive restrictions Soul Train Disco launched on Seel Street in July 2021 and has been an enormous success since day one.

Targeting those over the age of 25 who still want to go out and have an enjoyable time, dance, and even have a good old fashioned “slowie” at the end of the night!

New over 25's bar Soul Train Disco opens in Liverpool

Soul Train Disco is based at the top of Seel Street, next to Dirty O Shea’s and was the brainchild of Liverpool nightlife legend David Soul. David’s aim is to save clubland for the over 25’s, so they still have a place to go out and dance the night away, with likeminded people.

With well-known local DJ’s such as Charlie C, who has played all over the city from being on Juice 107.6FM to being a regular in the Conti as well as DJ Ian Gordon, who was the original DJ from Rupert’s and Quinn’s, to name just a few.

DJ David Soul said:

“We spent the whole of 2020 and the start of 2021 promoting the nights online with live shows and the reaction was fantastic. So, when July 22nd came and all restrictions around standing up, dancing and so on came into force we launched. Admission is free and drinks are pub prices, so it is not expensive. We play a range from Luther to Beyonce and just like back in the day there is time for some slowies at the end of the night.”
