Premier League: Burnley vs Liverpool; Are you still thinking about the mad goalkeeper scoring the maddest header ever?

Because same.

Have you watched the video of him leaping like a salmon and nodding it home like a prime Alan Shearer 5000 times?

Because same.

Have you watched the video with all the different commentators screaming down their microphone because a goalkeeper scored a last-minute winner at least 1000 times?

Because same.

Have you watched the video of the big, tall handsome goalkeeper scoring a header with the rocky music and the titanic music in the background at least 500 times?

Because same.

However, the worst and most sickening thing about the maddest goal probably ever is that it could all be in vain.

Liverpool still need to win their last two games to be in within a chance of snatching a top four spot.

If they draw or lose then it is completely out of their hands, also if Jurgen Klopp’s men do win both games there is a chance that still could not be enough due to goal difference.

So if Leicester City beat Tottenham significantly on the last day it may still all count for nothing.

The only thing Liverpool can do is their job, sort themselves out first and then worry about everyone else.

That will also be tough as Burnley will have their fans in and they will want to be entertained.

Of course, they will want to ruin the late charge for the top four, everyone will.

West Brom came ever so close until Mr Alisson Becker scored, so now what else will Liverpool need to get over the line.

Klopp knows how big of a challenge it is in front of his side.

In his pre-match press conference the German said: “I’ve never watched a goal back as much as this in the dressing room after it. But we are not even close to our goal because we know how high the obstacles are in front of us.”

The obstacles are so very high.

Tension, in the top four races is absolutely ridiculous and whatever happens against Burnley it will still go to the last day.

That will not do the nerves any good at all whatsoever.

The nerves also won’t be helped also by the fact Chris Wood is in fantastic form and he will be up against an inexperienced centre back pairing of Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams due to Ozan Kabak being ruled out for the remaining games.

It’ll certainly be an interesting battle.

For positive injury news though James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain should be back in contention.

At least football seems to be back alive again.

The fans are back, Liverpool have something to play for after it seemed for so long that they wouldn’t and they scored a goal in the last minute which the whole world still cannot fathom.

No one has even had a chance to get over it and there is another game to get through.

Football.

It always reals you in, that is why we all love it.
