August 11, 2022

As Liverpool prepares to open the world famous American restaurant chain, Hooters, the team behind the brand will be holding an exclusive recruitment day on the 18th August 2022 which will take place at the prestigious Hilton Hotel Liverpool, between the hours of 11- 6pm.

Hooters are launching their global brand in the heart of Liverpool with a phenomenal 200 job positions available.

The sensational new site is opening this Summer in New Zealand House, located on exclusive Water Street, home once upon a time to the Newz Bar.

Unbelievably, but expect the unbelievable with Hooters, no previous experience is needed as you will be trained the ‘Hooters Way.’  This is a chance to be placed on an international platform and experience the glamorous life that is, truly, the Hooters Way!

The job role of a Hooters Girl is to be empowered and feel part of a successful team with many opportunities to participate in community events, promotions and possibly travel taking part in worldwide events with a global brand.

Successful members of the Hooters team will receive flexible hours, great pay, tuition reimbursement and most of all fun. Tuition reimbursement has never been done in the UK! Built on a concept that Hooters is here to support! We believe in a tuition reimbursement program and support for all of our staff.

Flexible hours Hooters staff work is meant to fit into your own lifestyle. A job in hospitality in Liverpool that will help pay for your degree, let you work your own hours!! This is a first for Liverpool.

All candidates will be first round interviewed and successful applicants will be contacted to begin the required full exclusive training over a number of weeks.

This training program will be led by an exclusive and highly skilled training team of internationally renowned Hooters Girls who are flying over from America into Liverpool to train ‘our girls’ the ‘Hooters Way.’

The training will be spectacular and will work towards a series of soft openings taking place in New Zealand House before the much anticipated grand opening to the public later this summer.

Currently there are tens of thousands of  Hooters staff who work worldwide, whether that is Heart of House or the Front of House-we’ve got you!

Success stories are too many to mention but even Chief People Officer of the brand,  Cheryl Whiting Kish, originally started out as a Hooters Girl and now heads the platform for many empowering movements.

Cheryl Whiting Kish – Chief People Officer said:

“Hooters will be 40 years old in 2023. We have over 400 locations worldwide and are super excited to now be opening in the world famous city of Liverpool. Known for its music, sport, people and culture.”

Cheryl, has been with Hooters nearly 30 years and she now works as the Chief People Officer, a role that focuses on Hooters’ culture and talent management strategy.

She explains that since its founding in 1983, Hooters has ‘stuck to its roots and been rewarded with 100 percent brand recognition’.

She further promotes Hooters, ‘SERVE’ core values (Show You Care, Elevate The Spirit, Respect Everyone, Value Feedback, and Exceed Expectations).

She notes that Hooters has always been committed to providing team members a clear pathway up the organisational ladder. An estimated 75 percent of the current leadership team in the US started with Hooters, and 40 percent of operations leaders are women—most of them beginning as Hooters Girls, like Whiting-Kish.

“There’s a very strong culture around training development, ensuring that we are helping people to hone the skills that they learn by working for Hooters so as they can manifest and grow into whatever and whoever they want to become. Hopefully they stay with the brand, perhaps they move on and they have other career goals, but they should be all the better for having worked for us.”

Hooters, despite a misconception in the UK, has a 41% women and children customer clientele across the globe, showing that the wholesome, glamorous cheerleader/girl next door brand is no way distasteful.

Hooters is empowering and simply personifies the Hooters image, strong, friendly and welcoming to all: what a sensational concept.

Rachel Moss, MD of Hooters Liverpool adds:

“We are really looking forward to opening Hooters and giving the people what they want and need. Great service. A warm welcoming environment and tremendous food!  Liverpool is my home city and I am very proud to be bringing such a well known international brand here.

Work has been ongoing on this project for over two years and the site is amazing. It also gives me great pride to be creating around 200 jobs, both full time and part time for local workers. We will be investing heavily in our staff from day one.”

No expense has been spared in the refurbishment of New Zealand House. Seeing is really believing, when you come inside your senses will be on overdrive!

From the huge array of high spec video walls,  80 TV’s and a 50 metre hand painted sky ceiling, this is something truly spectacular. No big sports events will ever be missed and no one will ever forget their first time in Hooters, Liverpool.

Hooters have even added a £25k Las Vegas style themed changing rooms on site for Hooters Girls so they can be camera ready at all times.

Anyone interested in coming along to the recruitment day should email recruitment@hootersuk.com  before the 16th August.
