Cheryl, has been with Hooters nearly 30 years and she now works as the Chief People Officer, a role that focuses on Hooters’ culture and talent management strategy.
She explains that since its founding in 1983, Hooters has ‘stuck to its roots and been rewarded with 100 percent brand recognition’.
She further promotes Hooters, ‘SERVE’ core values (Show You Care, Elevate The Spirit, Respect Everyone, Value Feedback, and Exceed Expectations).

An estimated 75 percent of the current leadership team in the US started with Hooters, and 40 percent of operations leaders are women—most of them beginning as Hooters Girls, like Whiting-Kish.
“There’s a very strong culture around training development, ensuring that we are helping people to hone the skills that they learn by working for Hooters so as they can manifest and grow into whatever and whoever they want to become. Hopefully they stay with the brand, perhaps they move on and they have other career goals, but they should be all the better for having worked for us.”
Hooters, despite a misconception in the UK, has a 41% women and children customer clientele across the globe, showing that the wholesome, glamorous cheerleader/girl next door brand is no way distasteful.
Hooters is empowering and simply personifies the Hooters image, strong, friendly and welcoming to all: what a sensational concept.

“We are really looking forward to opening Hooters and giving the people what they want and need. Great service. A warm welcoming environment and tremendous food! Liverpool is my home city and I am very proud to be bringing such a well known international brand here.
Work has been ongoing on this project for over two years and the site is amazing. It also gives me great pride to be creating around 200 jobs, both full time and part time for local workers. We will be investing heavily in our staff from day one.”
No expense has been spared in the refurbishment of New Zealand House. Seeing is really believing, when you come inside your senses will be on overdrive!
