Local Illustrator/Mural Artist, Sean Webster, was spotted adding another piece of artwork to Booker Avenue this morning right next to his Ladybird and Round The World murals.
His latest work is a thank you to all our NHS staff, and instantly had positive response by the public as the Artist announced it on social media.
Sean, 17, from Allerton, said;
“I started work at 7am and as soon as people could make out what it was everything went a bit crazy. Everyone was taking pictures, cars were beeping and traffic was slowing down to see what was going on. The nicest part about doing this as a public piece was chatting to all the amazing NHS staff passing by who were over the moon with it.
It’s so nice to be able to add another piece to the road that will mean so much to a lot of people during these times, and hopefully just lighten and brighten everyone’s day as they pass.”
Sean, who works from his studio in MerseyMade on Paradise Street, just last month announced his first solo exhibition, ‘4 Years of Colour’, which is set to take place in September.
