One of Liverpool’s finest hidden gems, the Sefton Park Hotel has something for everyone. From its superb location, delectable afternoon tea offering, and terrace with panoramic views across Sefton Park to its delicious Sunday roasts, multi-functional conference and events space, and first-class accommodation, this pretty boutique hotel is bursting with charm and more than its fair share of history.

One of Liverpool’s most individual and well-located hotels, it has everything you need to make any occasion memorable. Whether you are looking for somewhere new to relax and unwind, are planning a celebration, or want to catch up with friends and family, this stunning little gem has undergone a major makeover, ready for the busy summer months ahead.

Sefton Park Hotel has something for everyone

Only ten minutes from Liverpool city centre, the carefully restored Victorian Villa, spread over three floors, offers guests a peaceful alternative with enchanting views of the boating lake and beyond across the 200+ acres of Liverpool’s most beloved park.

The multi-functional hotel and events space boasts 17 rooms, all with ensuite facilities, as well as a self-contained garden coach house that can sleep up to six people. The lower ground floor houses the recently refurbished function space, including a draped marquee, perfect for weddings, conferences, and celebrations with up to 120 guests for dinner and 200 guests reception style.

The hotel has a super-stylish, quirky restaurant that comfortably seats 30 guests and boasts one of Liverpool’s finest Sunday roasts, along with a beautifully curated a la carte menu and a dedicated bar area, both of which have views of the parkland beyond.

Beautifully presented and packed with all the traditional afternoon tea favourites, their all-new indulgent afternoon tea offering includes a selection of finger sandwiches, a freshly baked fruit scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam, a savoury cheese scone, and a delicious array of home-made cakes and delicacies. For £17.95 per person, you can enjoy the afternoon tea with a choice of Earl Grey, English loose-leaf tea, or fresh ginger and mint infusions, or indulge in a glass of bubbles for just £22.95 per person.

And as we (finally) head into summer, the jewel in the crown of this stunning venue must be the expansive, newly refurbished outdoor terrace, which is bursting with seasonal blooms and offers ample seating for up to 120 guests. The terrace space also boasts its very own, fully stocked horsebox bar and all-weather giant umbrellas, and plans to install a pizza oven are well underway. The ultimate spot to relax, kick back, and watch the world go by!

For history buffs, the hotel also has a rich legacy, as it was the family home of the Beatles original bass player, Stuart Sutcliffe, from 1959 to 1971. The owners have lovingly curated an eclectic gallery of photographs and memorabilia throughout the public areas for guests to enjoy, as well as act as a tribute to Stuart’s musical influence on the city and beyond.

Whether it is a celebration, get-together, relaxing break, or alfresco catch-up with friends, The Sefton Park Hotel has everything you need to make every occasion unforgettable.
