Community sneaker store size? have unveiled the launch of an exclusive adidas Originals Liverpool trainer, as part of ‘Anniversary City Series’
On Wednesday 26th February the store revealed their upcoming release of the limited-edition adidas Originals Liverpool trainer that’s set to drop in the size? Liverpool and size? Dublin stores from Friday 28th February, the only global locations you will be able to pick this shoe up at this time.
To celebrate 20 years of size? and pay homage to the original 2010 Anniversary Series, size? have collaborated with adidas Originals to continue the highly sought-after ‘Anniversary Series’. The 2020 collection takes inspiration from the six original shoes released back in 2010 for the retailer’s 10th anniversary, this time selecting the twin city of the original UK cities.
size? are proud to introduce Liverpool as the first of 6 ‘Anniversary Series’ releases, with only 2020 pairs available to purchase across the globe.
The classic ‘terrace’ silhouette is very minimal in design and material application, forming the perfect base to encompass countless interpretations of the personality of each nominated city in the series.
Liverpool’s history remains the main inspiration behind the colourway of the silhouette, amalgamating the city’s historic public transport and coat of arms to reflect the momentous heritage of the working port. The upper is constructed from premium dyed green suede, with three yellow gold stripes on the sidewall, sitting on top of the gum midsole. Each pair is finished with a premium gold number embossed on the heel, to signify the limited nature of the release.

Arriving alongside each purchase of the limited 2020 pairs is a collectable city guide filled with chapters exploring the shoe’s design inspiration, the city’s history, identity and some definitive ‘Top 5’ lists put together by some of the city’s prominent cultural figures such as The Farm’s Peter Hooton.
The adidas Originals Liverpool ‘Anniversary City Series’ – size? Exclusive will be available at the size? Liverpool and size? Dublin stores from 7am on Friday 28th February, priced at £90.
The first 150 purchases at the size? Liverpool store will be accompanied by a wristband to attend an exclusive party on the evening with performances from Michael Head & The Red Elastic Band and Mel Bowen.
