The Fuzzy Duck bar and restaurant has opened in the heart of Liverpool’s vibrant Georgian Quarter.

The warm and welcoming bar, decadently styled, promises a unique experience for guests looking to unwind and enjoy delicious food and drinks in a cosy yet vibrant setting. Boasting a fantastic drinks selection, including craft beers and spirits from around the world, to a full Champagne and wine list along with an array of tempting cocktails. There’s something to suit every taste and every occasion!

Diners can enjoy a unique blend of Asian-inspired cuisine created by head chef Jonathan Man, drawing inspiration from his family’s culinary heritage. With a menu featuring innovative dishes like Togarashi-battered haddock and a show stopping duck cottage pie, guests can indulge in tantalizing flavours that marry Asian influences with British comfort food.

The eye-catching decor, includes birds and feathers with a touch of eye-catching pink, sets the stage for a laid-back yet stylish atmosphere perfect for catching up with friends and family or enjoying a few drinks. The bar is dog-friendly and welcomes our furry four-legged friends with a selection of dog treats available at the bar.

On Thursday, guests were invited to a preview evening where they enjoyed a ‘Ducks Fuzz cocktail’ on arrival and a choice of dishes from the main menu along with live music from Marc Kenny, who covered a selection of classics to entertain the diners. Feedback from guests included, “Excellent food and service”, “The Duck burger was amazing” and “Gorgeous décor – a real hidden gem”.

There are some fabulous launch offers not to be missed:

·        Wine Wednesdays – Wednesdays you can buy a bottle of any wine at half the usual price.

·        Thirsty Thursdays – Thursdays you can get 4 pints of Pijiu or 5 bottles of Asahi for £15. Or you can order a duck burger / sweet potato katsu curry from the menu and get a free glass of beer or house wine.

·        Fizz and Chips Fridays – get fish and chips and a glass of Prosecco for £19.95. And because it’s Friday you can enjoy a bottle of Prosecco for £25.

Opening times are Wednesday to Sunday from 12 noon for drinks, food, or both. And if you are dining upstairs in Liu Shi restaurant, you might wander down for a few drinks after dinner and feel like you’re in another part of the city.

The Fuzzy Duck is also available for private hire and would suit everything from product launches and corporate gatherings to baby showers or birthday and anniversary celebrations. The versatile layout with a private feature bar has capacity for up to 120 guests, a dancefloor and space for a DJ or live entertainment. The venue has everything you need to make your celebration a special and memorable one, with bespoke packages to suit every budget.
