The Knowsley Social launches this Spring with a stellar line up of sensational music and family events

The Knowsley Social will be the North West’s biggest socially distanced festival, a purposefully built big top tent will hold 9 weeks of major events this spring and summer starting with M People’s Heather Small, Sam Devine and The Shapeshifters. 

M People star Heather Small, Sam Devine and international dance act The Shapeshifters will be among the big name acts to launch the North West’s biggest socially distanced events space this spring.

The Knowsley Social, which will launch on Thursday 20th May in the grounds of the Knowsley estate, is a purposefully built big top tent comprising of 200 socially distanced pods for people and families to enjoy show-stopping music concerts and events including Bongo’s Bingo, Liverpool Disco Festival and Milkshake Live! 

The Knowsley Social tent will hold 1000 people. It will run from May across 9 weeks with a variety of big name acts as well as weekly events including further star performances.  

Families and friends can purchase tickets for pods available for up to six people from tomorrow Friday 26 February www.theknowsleysocial.co.uk

The exclusive pods will be two meters apart and include table service comprising various dining and drink options. VIP pods are also available. 

One Night in Heaven and Proud singer Heather Small, who had a string of 90s smash hits singles with M People, will be the first headline performer. The songstress is planning a night to remember before Sam Devine and The Shapeshifters take to the Knowsley Social stage on Saturday 22nd May. 

The Knowsley Social will give the North West a ‘packed programme of amazing entertainment and something to look forward to’ say organisers as the government produced its roadmap out of lockdown. 

Tickets prices for the various events start at £25 per person. 

Danny Thompson, co-founder of the Knowsley Social, said: 

“We are incredibly excited to be announcing details of the Knowsley Social which will give people a very special, unique experience as we head out of lockdown. People are going to get VIP table services and amazing events to remember inside a purposely built big top tent. It is incredibly exciting to be announcing this news. 

We’ve got a packed programme of amazing entertainment, big name performers and family events that will give everyone something to look forward including M People’s Heather Small on Sam Devine and the Shapeshifters

There will be something for all ages including top quality family shows such as Brainiac Live and Milkshake Live. 

We’re also proud to announce details of Britain’s first major socially distanced LGBT+ event featuring S Club and Cheryl Hole. Liverpool Disco Festival will also be taking over for a series of big music nights too. 

Set in the glorious gardens of the Knowsley estate, Knowsley Social is going to be the biggest and best and socially distanced event in the North West over the spring and summer months. Details about all our events are available at www.theknowsleysocial.co.uk now.”

M People’s Heather Small said: 

“I am excited to be performing at the Knowsley Social in May. I’m looking forward to performing all of my greatest hits. It is going to be a night to remember.”
