The Liverpool Dragon – Sean Webster

Liverpool is well known for its visual art creations scattered around various locations in the city, with the unsanctioned masterpieces being great backdrops for them all important social media shots.

A recent independent Street Art piece that has captured people’s eye is one created by local 16-year-old Illustrator Sean Webster. Sean has recently unveiled a new mural at the back of Ten Streets Market, located in the new creative quarter of Liverpool.

Going by the name of The Liverpool Dragon, this creative piece of freehand drawing can be found on Carlton Street. With no rules in the street art stakes, this funky piece features Liverpool’s most iconic traits including a blue and red wing, a lambanana inspired tail, a Beatles cut and to top it all off, it’s breathing out Liverpool’s musical spirit.

Set to be the next popular photo opportunity shot, you can even have your picture taken by him holding the shield next to it! So, expect to see this mural lighting up your social feeds.

The area is the perfect neck of the woods for The Liverpool Dragon, with the location renowned for being jam packed with creativity, musically and artistically. Adding a bit of colour for the people of Liverpool to go down, enjoy and explore the surrounding creative areas, Sean has certainly brought an integral culture fix in the Liverpool Street Art gallery game.
