The Spirit of Liverpool brings interactive outdoor cinema experience to the city this March

Two outdoor cinema events will be heading to Liverpool this March, part of Culture Liverpool’s Without Walls programme.

Join Monika and Michael from The Spirit of Liverpool for an interactive outdoor cinema experience watching films and footage of your local heritage projected onto various locations.

The Time Travel Cinema will take place on Sunday 20th & Sunday 27th March. The events take form of guided walk with film projections of archive footage, focusing on Liverpool 8 history and Liverpool’s LGBTQIA+ heritage.

Sun 20 March 6.15pm: TIME TRAVEL CINEMA: L8

Travel through our home Liverpool 8 watching locally made films to immerse in its heritage and sense of community. Tickets: £8 + booking fee / flexible price for L8 residents

Located in the city centre, this tour connects with historical LGBTQIA+ sites, uncovering hidden stories of our queer heritage. Tickets: £10 + booking fee

Routes are step-free. All footage is suitable for all ages, but children and those under 15 need to be accompanied by an adult.

Covid-19 safety measures: This event will take place outdoors and people are encouraged to observe social distancing. Wearing a face covering will be absolutely fine.
