UFC star, Molly McCann, and local business entrepreneur, Tom Smyth, to race up and down radio city tower stairs 16 times for children’s charities.

Liverpool UFC fighter Molly McCann and entrepreneur Tom Smyth owner of Liverpool based Dream Group will be taking on a gruelling 4,000-metre stair challenge at one of the UK’s tallest buildings – Liverpool’s iconic Radio City Tower – to raise money for children’s charities. The charity event will take place at 730am on Wednesday 31 March 2021.

The tower stands 125metres high and Tom and Molly will be powering to the top and back down a total of 16 times – the equivalent of almost half the height of Mount Everest!

Proceeds from the charity climb will be going to the Children’s Cancer Unit in Belfast, Cash for Kids in Liverpool and Early Break charity in Manchester.

Tom, the owner of Dream Luxury Serviced Apartments and several construction firms, is teaming up with 30-year-old Molly, aka Meatball Molly, to take on the tower.

The pair share a passion for challenging themselves, in sport and in life. Tom, 46, has recently released his new book Fear Less, helping people reinvent themselves and their businesses. He’s also launched his Dream Mentoring programme, where he coaches individuals in group and one-to-one sessions.  

Molly has a formidable record as an English Mixed Martial Artist, Cage Warriors Fighting Championship Flyweight Champion and currently competes in the flyweight division of the UFC.

Alongside her fighting career, Molly is also an ambassador for Fighting for Autism and hosts a podcast with Former Miss GB Gemma Garrett called Brunch Club by Buella. Tom will be featuring on the podcast March 29 and Molly has recently become an ambassador for Dream Luxury Serviced Apartments and a client on Tom’s Dream Mentoring programme. 

The charity climb will be their first event together and it’s guaranteed to put them to the test – the 4,000-metre total is the equivalent of climbing the Statue of Liberty 42 times, Eiffel Tower 13 times, the Empire State Building 9 times, and the CN Tower in Toronto 8 times!
