**** Public announcement ****

To our valued partners, friends and clients…

Due to the unprecedented situation in relation to Coronavirus, it is with a heavy heart but the best intentions that Liverpool’s City Halls (St George’s Hall, Liverpool Town Hall and Croxteth Hall) yesterday took the decision to close their doors until further notice. The City Halls team apologises for any inconvenience caused and hopes to resume normal service with all respective events and activities as soon as possible.

Please note, as it is a statutory service, Liverpool Register Office is OPEN and will continue to offer a limited service. Liverpool Register Office is accessible via the Visitor Entrance of St George’s Hall on St John’s Lane, and more information regarding the team’s services can be found at www.liverpool.gov.uk/births-marriage-deaths. Due to a high volume of calls and a limited available service, the team are contactable via email only (Wedding enquiries: ceremonies@liverpool.gov.uk | All other matters – registrar@liverpool.gov.uk).

Closure of St George’s Hall also includes The Little Shoe café, who will instead be running an online takeaway/delivery service including essential food items, ‘Pay it Forward’ care packages and other tasty treats. More information can be found at www.thelittleshoeliverpool.co.uk/shop.
