Treat yourself to a relaxing and fun needle felting workshop suitable for beginners and beyond.

The workshop will be led by Amanda Smith from Felt Fabulous Gifts. A self-taught felter with a teaching background, she will gently guide you through the various wools, needles and techniques required to produce your own wool sculpture.

We will be making owls and you can choose to make a Tawny, Snowy or Barn owl, or just work to your own design! The workshop will be for a maximum of eight people to allow for individual attention.

A variety of British wools will be used and all wools, needles and felting mats are provided. You will be taking home with you your felted owl and the felting needles that you were using, as well as tips and techniques to use with other felting projects. Needle felting is a very therapeutic craft and is great for taking the mind away from the stresses and worries of everyday life.

The cost of the workshop is £23.00. A drink of tea, coffee , juice or water is included in the price.

The event takes place between 2.00pm-4.00pm.
