Akasya on Bold Street has gone from strength to strength since opening in the Summer of 2021 on the eclectic Bold Street in Liverpool City Centre.
Located in the former home of noted designer boutique Giancarlo Ricci, Akasya’s prominent location on Bold Street has seen it become a welcome addition to one of the city’s best food and drink locations.
Now the owners of the Turkish restaurant are pleased to announce they have now been ranked in the top 10% of restaurants in the World on Tripadvisor.
The Travellers’ Choice, formerly Certificate of Excellence, recognizes businesses that earn consistently great reviews. Travellers’ Choice award-winners are among the top 10% of listings on Tripadvisor Worldwide. Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice honours select accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently demonstrate a commitment to hospitality excellence.
Tripadvisor awards the Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best to restaurants with a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from their community over a 12-month period. Each winner has passed rigorous trust and safety standards set by Tripadvisor. Fewer than 1% of Tripadvisor’s 8 million listings are awarded Best of the Best, signifying the highest level of excellence.

Set over two floors, with well over 100 covers, Akasya has created a bustling and vibrant theme, based around contemporary Turkish cuisine, with a traditional grill, tasty baklava menu and laid-back cocktails to complete the restaurant’s authentic experience. Dishes range from adana made on the charcoal grill to specials such as beyti.
