The award-winning Bongo’s Bingo has announced its June shows, and tickets are now available at CONTENT in Liverpool.
Night Of The Divas is the special theme for June, and it’s all about the amazing women who attend Bongo’s Bingo and bring such life and vibrancy to every show. The UK will celebrate the seven iconic queens to have ever walked the earth in every location: Beyonce, Celine, Whitney, Madonna, Cher, Rihanna, and Dolly.
And what’s more, each of the Night of The Divas dates will feature their incredible music. These are some of the most influential women who have inspired and led female empowerment for decades, and their music, from epic ballads to peak-time pop magic, will have Liverpool rocking on Friday 9th June.
Every song will have the crowd dancing and singing along at the top of their lungs while also serving as a timely reminder that women do, in fact, rule the world. If anyone would like to dress as their favourite diva, fancy dress is not required but is encouraged.
Liverpool’s full June dates are Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd, Friday 9th (Divas) Saturday 10th, Friday 16th, Saturday 17th, Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th and Friday 30th June and are on sale at www.bongosbingo.co.uk
Jonny Bongo, Bongo’s Bingo co-founder, says:
“At the start of this year we debuted our 90s theme across the UK and each and every show was wild. Now we are incredibly proud to announce the dates for our Night of the Divas events taking place throughout June alongside all other dates that month. These special dates are all about celebrating the amazing women who not only give Bongo’s Bingo its magic but also all of the women in all of our lives. I know all of our hosts can’t wait to play the classic tracks which make Whitney, Rhianna, Madonna and more so iconic. June is going to be class. We’ve also just had the absolute bonkers moment of the Hollywood legend turning up at Bongo’s Bingo in Glasgow which has totally blown our minds – and he loved it! He was even giving out the glowsticks in the rave round.”
The most talked-about night out in the country is Bongo’s Bingo. The original bingo rave phenomenon has revived a stereotypically charming British past time that includes nostalgia-drenched fun, rave rounds, dance-offs, en masse Karaoke, crazy prizes like Henry Hoovers and enormous pink fluffy unicorns, among other things, in a dose of pure and unadulterated escapism. Just ask Samuel L Jackson; there isn’t anything quite like it.
