Bring The Fire Project is holding two more workshops in Mossley Hill on Saturday, March 2, and Sunday, March 3, from 4pm to 8 pm, in response to the wildly popular first workshops of 2024 that took place in January. The masterclasses are perfect for people of all skill levels; no prior experience is necessary, and all necessary equipment is offered, making them perfect as experience gifts or for those looking to take up a new hobby.

For a mere £93, you can attend these one-of-a-kind workshops and walk away with a certificate, a lifelong skill, and expert photos taken by leading fire photographers to immortalise your experience. If you develop a deep love for the arts, you can pursue your newfound interest in performing by taking advantage of the various community-based opportunities offered by Bring The Fire Project.

The largest collective of fire dancers, circus skill instructors, and flow arts promoters in the North West is called Bring The Fire Project. Established in 2012 by Szymon Mamys, a professional fire artist, Bring The Fire Project organises fire workshops, circus workshops, events, and light shows all over the country. Some of its clients are Hollyoaks, Liverpool ONE, Sound City, and Culture Liverpool.

Founded Szymon Mamys said:

“Our fire workshops are very popular and people from all walks of life love them. Engaging in an art like this is great for mental health as there’s an aspect of mindfulness to it — being at one with the fire. You get to learn a new skill for life, have fun and meet new people. For some it becomes a new hobby or even career. It’s also the perfect gift for someone.”

Since there is a cap of 12 participants per workshop, it is understandable that spaces fill up quickly. As a result, additional dates for April and May will be released shortly. Over the years, numerous 5-star reviews from a wide range of backgrounds have been left for the workshops.

Bella, who attended the January workshop, said:

“No words can describe how I’m feeling looking through the pictures that were taken during the Bring the Fire Project workshop I attended. I’ve wanted to do a fire workshop for years but due to a lack of confidence I’d never plucked up the courage to book it. I can’t believe I waited so long!”

She continued:

“Sai was not only professional but he made the whole workshop fun and educational whilst implementing the importance of safety at all times. There wasn’t a point throughout the entire afternoon that I felt unsafe or unable to speak up or ask questions it really was a fantastic afternoon and I can’t recommend these guys enough.”

A growing number of people are becoming involved in Bring The Fire Project because of its positive effects on mental health, the arts, and social aspects of the community it has created. It’s a well-liked option for performances at parties and events of all shapes and sizes because it adds something exciting to elevate the occasion.
