With the coronavirus outbreak having a massive impact on businesses, venues and attractions across the UK, Chester Zoo have been hit with the news they may need to stay closed indefinitely.
The zoo has stayed positive during the pandemic, with their conservationists continuing to prevent extinction, keeping up the fight for an extinction-free future.
Since the gates have been closed, Chester Zoo have been holding virtual days to cheer up animal lovers across the UK, as well as providing learning resources which have helped thousands of home-schooling families.
During the impact of the crisis Chester Zoo have been caring for 35,000 animals to help conservation organisations across the world manage the affects of COVD-19 in their fight for wildlife.
With the current crisis leaving the zoo fighting for their future, Chester Zoo needs your help more than ever to help prevent extinction and ensure a future for endangered species, no matter how big or small.
How can you help?
The best way you can help at this current time is to make a small donation if you can, allowing the zoo to use it where needed most. It costs a substantial £465,000 a month to look after the animals and plants! So every penny helps, no donation is too small to make a difference.
