Bringing a touch of class and sophistication to the heart of the city, Dash restaurant will be opening its doors to reveal its multi-million-pound transformation. The stunning venue located on Victoria Street which was previously home to Living Room and Sugar Hut, has been completely remodelled and redesigned, creating a contemporary chic restaurant and bar.
Retaining the restaurant’s familiar stairway entrance, new owners The 15 Group are bringing a luxurious experience to Liverpool. The décor offers a colour scheme of blossom and teal contrasts with a bold black and white diamond flooring throughout, with on entering the opulent set up the glass doors are etched with the Dash signature.
Customers are welcomed with a huge 10metre-plus bar with full-length spirit display and bar stool seating, with restaurant banquettes and stand-alone tables for 125 covers to the left, opposite a spacious bar area and curved booth seating.
The DJ box with backlit Dash signage creates a focal point to the right of the entrance, alongside one of two semi-circular feature booths each seating up to 12. Italian Carrera marble has been used for walls and pillars to give the space a timeless classic backdrop, accentuated with crystal chandeliers.
A private dining room offers a sophisticated setting for private parties of up to 36 guests, perfect for a special occasion party or business lunch. The room has its own dedicated server and a dazzling ceiling filled with an expanse of high and low hanging chandeliers.
The restaurant menu features Pan Asian influenced dishes and small plates, while the bar will serve spirits and beers alongside Dash’s signature New York-themed cocktail list. The list, which comes in a hardback book style, has been created by cocktail consultant and Living Room alumni Tom Jones. His mixes will take customers on a journey through the decades and fashions from Cuban and Prohibition to Manhattan and Disco.
Dean Jones, co-owner of The 15 Group, said the architect-led design had been inspired by his own European trip.
“I was in Paris and went into this particular bar and was absolutely blown away by it,” he explained. “We knew we wanted to do something with Dash that had never been done in Liverpool before and when I saw it I thought, this is it.”
Parisian elegance has been combined with the cool contemporary feel of a high-end New York restaurant which, says general manager Ameer Kirby, has created a spectacular result. He added: “The restaurant is stunning, so we want our guests to come and have a diverse and unique dining experience in a comfortable but luxurious environment.”
Refined, simple and stylish, Dash will provide an exquisite night for all to indulge and enjoy.
