Duke Street Market announce new Click+Collect service

Missing some great quality food from your street food favourites? Well you will be pleased to hear that Liverpool’s much-loved Duke Street Food and Drink Market has unveiled a new Click+Collect service allowing guests to enjoy food from its different vendors to takeaway.

Following lockdown, the market initially set about providing a drop off donation point for the hospitality industry and supported many workers as well as The Trussell Trust Foodbank.

Since then, the team has been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to reopen the 5000 square feet venue to the public.

Having developed a new website where guests can visit to select dishes of their choice from the different vendors, the market is now open for Click+Collect orders only with all safe distancing measured adhered to including hand sanitising stations.

And Cahita, formerly known as Cuban eatery Finca, has its signature Cubano, Cubano with Chorizo, Pulled Garlic and Mushroom Cubano, Fried Chicken and Mojo Mayo, Sweet Potato Fries and famous Cuban Doughnuts available.

To accompany the market’s extensive menu is a drinks list including a range of beers, fizz, a selection of organic white, rose and red wines and a special cocktail list of £6 each or four for £20 including Aperol Spritz, Pimms G&T, Barnamint Baileys, Strawberry Smash, Triple Citrus G&T, June Bug to name a few.

Duke Street Market will be open for collections on Friday 12th June 4-9pm and Saturday 13th June 12-9pm. Following this weekend, the days that the market is open and hours for collection will be reviewed weekly and may be extended as retail reopens and lockdown restrictions are lifted further.

Duke Street Market’s General Manager, Lee Bannon-Smith, said:

“We’ve been eagerly anticipating the reopening of the market and wanted to return to serving up our quality dishes and drinks to the public as soon as possible but it was essential that we navigated the restrictions carefully before doing so.

“Now that we have a system that works for both the kitchens and our valued guests, we’re delighted with the extensive menu we have available, accompanied by a wide range of cocktails, beers, wines and fizz to keep everyone going through lockdown.”

Guests can place their order through https://www.dukestreetmarket.com and selected timeslot.

Once an order has been placed, guests must arrive at the front entrance at their chosen time on Duke Street with their order number ready to collect their items. One person per household is permitted entry.
