Faces behind the Business – Katie Kelly & Claire Boyle - The Key Style

When did you first get into the industry?

We both started out in the fashion industry during our time in Uni doing internships and work experience which then led onto jobs in retail. Now we have a combined 15 years experience in fashion retail, styling, buying and photography.

How long have you worked at The key style and what is your job role?

We set up our business during the 3rd lockdown so it’s only been a few months so far! Our role is personal shoppers, stylists and home/wardrobe organisers.

What is The key style’s ethos?

For us it all comes down to helping someone feel confident in themselves. Our appointments are designed to do just that. We want our clients to feel amazing after one of our appointments.

What’s the best bit of advice you could give to anyone looking at working in your line of work?

Work hard! If you really want it then you’ve got to put the time and effort into it. It can be such a fun and rewarding job but it can be a very competitive industry.

What do you love most about Liverpool?

We love how friendly and open minded the people are.

If you could describe your business in 3 words what would they be?

Creative, inspiring and fun.
